A bad day at work, an argument before bedtime, a free weekend with no plans, your partner's birthday. Twelve everyday situations from life as a couple, and for each one you pick what you would really do. Think of your current relationship, your last one, or how you are with the people closest to you.

Your answers point to one of six relationship styles: how you show care, how much closeness and space you need, how you handle disagreements and how you make plans. It takes about three minutes. Every style has its own strengths and its own blind spots, and none of them is the wrong one. It is even more fun if your partner takes it too.

Possible results

  • The Anchor You are the calm in the storm: steady, reliable and there, day after day.
  • The Spark With you, nobody gets bored: you bring laughter, surprises and new adventures.
  • The Nest-Builder You show love with your hands: warm food, a tidy home and needs met before anyone asks.
  • The Open Book For you, closeness is conversation: you say what you feel and want to hear the same back.
  • The Kite You love on a long string: close, loyal and still free to fly.
  • The Compass You keep the relationship heading somewhere: plans, shared goals and problems solved.

How this quiz works

The quiz has 12 everyday situations with four answers each. Every answer gives two points to one of six relationship styles and one point to another, because real behaviour rarely fits a single box. Each style is the main option in exactly eight answers and the second option in eight more, so no style is easier to get than another. Your result is the style with the most points. The bars show the others relative to it. If two styles tie, the one earlier in this list wins: Anchor, Spark, Nest-Builder, Open Book, Kite, Compass.

The situations, the six styles and their descriptions were written by the kahur.ee editors. They are not taken from any published questionnaire, book or psychological model. This is a reflective quiz for fun and conversation, not a validated psychological test. It does not measure attachment styles, compatibility or how well a relationship works, and it is not relationship counselling. If your relationship worries you, or you do not feel safe in it, talk to someone you trust or to a professional counsellor.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an attachment style test?

No. Attachment styles are a research concept measured with specific questionnaires, and this quiz does not use them or claim to measure them. These six styles are our own way of describing everyday habits in a relationship: how you show care, how much space you need, how you argue and how you plan.

Is this quiz scientific?

No. The questions and styles were written by our editors for reflection and fun, and they have not been validated. The result is a pattern of your answers, not a verdict about you or your relationship.

Can we take the quiz as a couple?

Yes, and it is more fun that way. Take it separately, without looking at each other's answers, and then compare. A different result is not a problem, it is a good starting point for a conversation about what each of you needs.

Which relationship styles go well together?

Any two styles can work well. Similar styles understand each other easily, different ones complement each other. Each result page names one style you tend to get along with, but what matters more is knowing each other's habits and talking about them.

Can my result change?

Yes. Your answers depend on which relationship you had in mind, on the stage of life you are in and on the day. Several styles often finish close to each other, so read about your second style too.

Is my result stored?

No. Your result is worked out at once and we do not store your answers. We do not ask for a name, email or account. The share link contains only your style and scores.
