What this means

How you work

You like clear tasks, proven methods and a plan you can follow. You remember details others forget, you keep your word, and you quietly dislike surprises. Alone with a well-defined job, you are at your best.

Strengths

Dependability. People stop checking on your work because it is always there, on time, done properly. You bring order to chaos without making a fuss about it.

What trips you up

Change that arrives without warning, and people who improvise. You can dismiss a new idea for being new, and you may carry duties long after they stopped being yours.

In relationships

You show love by doing: the car is fuelled, the bill is paid, the thing is fixed. Partners sometimes need to hear it too. You are loyal for the long run.

One thing to try

Say yes to one unplanned thing this month without first working out how it ends.

About the quiz: 16 personality types test: which type are you?

Twenty-eight everyday situations, each with two answers. Pick the one that is more like you, even when both fit a little. Four preference pairs come out of it: where your energy comes from, how you take in information, how you decide and how you like to live. Together they make a four-letter type, and every type has its own page.

It takes about six minutes and there is nothing to sign up for. One honest note before you start: this is a popular self-reflection model, not a scientific personality measurement. If you want the measured version, take the Big Five test on this site. This one is for recognising yourself and comparing notes with friends.

How this quiz works

This test uses four classic preference pairs: where your energy comes from (extraverted or introverted), how you take in information (practical or imaginative), how you decide (logical or empathetic) and how you prefer to live (planned or flexible). Each pair has seven forced-choice questions, 28 in all. For every pair you get the letter you chose more often, and the percentage shows how one-sided your answers were: 57 % means four of seven, 100 % means all seven.

The questions and type descriptions are original kahur.ee items; we do not use the items or type names of any commercial instrument. The four-pair model is a popular way to reflect on yourself and talk about differences, and that is how we present it. It is not a scientific measurement of personality: people often get a different letter on a second attempt, especially near 50/50, and research support for the model is modest. If you want the measured approach, the Big Five test on this site is the one researchers use. Nothing here is a diagnosis or career advice.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official MBTI test?

No. The well-known commercial instrument is a separate, licensed product with its own questions and reports. This is an independent quiz built on the same four preference pairs, with our own questions and our own type descriptions.

What if a pair is close to 50/50?

Then that preference is weak for you and the other letter's page will probably ring true as well. Read both. A 57 % result means you chose that side four times out of seven.

Can my type change?

Yes, and it often does, especially on the pairs where you were close to the middle. Mood, the day and the situation you had in mind while answering all move the result. Treat the letters as a lens, not a label.

Which type is best?

None. Every type has strengths that another type lacks, and every page here lists blind spots as well. The useful question is not which type is best but what yours tends to overlook.

Is my result stored?

No. Your result is worked out at once and we do not store your answers. The share link contains only your type and percentages.
