European Central Bank daily rates as of 25.02.2026

How it works?

This converter uses official daily exchange rates published by the European Central Bank (ECB). Rates are updated every working day around 16:00 CET and cached for up to 12 hours.

All rates are quoted against the Euro (EUR) as the base currency. Converting between any two non-EUR currencies uses the cross-rate formula: amount × (rate_to / rate_from).

ECB reference rates are a reliable market benchmark, but actual rates at banks or exchange offices will differ due to fees and spreads.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the exchange rates come from?
Rates come from the European Central Bank (ECB) official daily feed (eurofxref-daily.xml). They are published every working day and represent reference rates for the foreign exchange market.
How often are the rates updated?
The ECB publishes new rates around 16:00 CET on every working day. Our system refreshes rates every 12 hours. On weekends and public holidays the previous working day's rates are shown.
Why does the rate at my bank differ?
ECB reference rates are mid-market benchmark rates. Banks and exchange offices add a spread or commission, so the rate you get in practice will be slightly less favourable.
Which currencies are supported?
The converter supports 24 major currencies including EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, CHF, SEK, CAD, AUD, and more. All listed currencies are provided in the ECB daily reference rate feed.
Can I share a specific conversion?
